Lower and Upper Hastings Ranch consist of mostly 1950's ranch style homes. Many of these homes are among tree-lined streets and are situated on large lots. This family-oriented neighborhood is located close to the Foothill Mountains and on a clear day it seems as if the mountains are right in your backyard!
The Hastings Ranch area has its own Homeowners Association, with an annual voluntary $10 fee. Each resident receives a bi-monthly publication telling about neighborhood activities, such as the Pancake Breakfast and the Christmas Light Up. The Christmas Light Up has been a tradition for more that 40 years now-- where each street in Upper Hastings decorates its parkways and homes with lights, garland, painted wooden cutouts of Snowmen, Christmas Trees, Angels and more. People come from all over to see the famous streets of Hastings Ranch lit up and alive with Holiday cheer!
Hastings Ranch has very easy access to the 210 freeway and the Gold Line. This helps to make commuting in and out of the area much more attractive. Hastings Ranch has two major shopping centers, featuring such stores as Whole Foods, Traders Joes, Ralph's Market, Starbucks, Pete's coffee, Best Buy, Bed Bath and Beyond, Old Navy and many other fine stores. There are also many great places to dine such as, Panda Inn, Peiway, El Torrito, Daphnies, and Noah's Bagels.
There is a strong sense of community in Lower and Upper Hastings Ranch making it is a great place to live and raise a family!
