Linda Vista is a beautiful area of Pasadena located on the west side of the Rose Bowl. It consists of 2.5 square miles of tree lined streets and beautiful homes. This unique hillside community has approximately 1,350 homes and many of them have flat/useable backyards.
This quiet family oriented community has much to offer. The Art Center College of Design is located at the very top of the hill in Linda Vista area. The Rose Bowl, Brookside Golf Course and the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center are all within walking distance from this neighborhood. Many of the residents are able to enjoy the fireworks show, put on every 4th of July at the Rose Bowl, from the comfort of their own homes. Also, Old Town Pasadena, Paseo Colorado and Lake Avenue are all in close proximity.
The Linda Vista community has its own association ($30 a year), which keeps the residents up-to-date on all city issues, beautification of the neighborhood and on any neighborhood concerns. They promote safety issues involving speed limits, strict limits on the size of new hillside homes, noise and other quality of life issues. Linda Vista also has its own public library, elementary school and fire station, which keeps this close knit community even closer.
